Satorius Rousse

"Inspired by Greg Derrett's "Great Dog Shame About the Handler" DVD, I took a crazy leap into classes and competitive agility.

I work in digital media, West Sussex/Hampshire and have a Masters in Cognitive Psychology and Reiki (hands on healing), offered to dogs only.

Satorius Rousse succeeded my soulmate, merle collie, Yang. Rousse is now 4 years old, grade 1 with a dozen KC clear rounds, WSD, abandoned nearly PTS. Luckily fostered 2 years ago by Scallywags School for Dogs where today visits for agility coaching.

Rousse started in his first week, at age two to follow a toy in my hand. Now does fast clear rounds, stays, perfect contacts, weaves, jumping and goes on.

After 13 months competing, I became a ring manager, he moved up to UKA Novice for Steeplechase and soon for agility too. He recently did clear rounds in his first pairs/team runs.

Out of the ordinary, most dogs love tunnels, but due to past dark space phobia or acute sense of smell? Sometimes in competition, Rousse runs into tunnels, sniffs has a scratch or fear-aggression rub before exiting, so times out. Any rare similar experience reader tips, welcome!

Rousse is magnetic with a mystical wolf-like blue eye and amber brown other eye, heart of gold, gives hugs, loves his walks, garden agility, snuggles, reiki, meditation CDs. Passionate about red kong, green frog, knows tonnes of words, loves clicker training. He adores pepperami, honey and ginger biscuit snippets. Fiona Stewart lives in rural countryside in Sussex/Hampshire, South of England (e.g especially Hampshire Southampton, Botley, Portsmouth, Rowlands Castle and West Sussex areas: Midhurst, Worthing, Lancing, Felpham, Bognor Regis, Middleton-On-Sea, Chichester, Lavant, Sidlesham, Steyning, Pagham, Southbourne, Emsworth, Petworth, Arundel, Littlehampton, Rustington, Pulborough for example) and has been advised instead of giving it away, to now start charging 2009 onwards for her gift, and sponsor her greatly increased agility competition training needs for border collie rescue, Satorius Rousse. Reiki Master charge at current 20% discounted rate is £20-40 for 0.5-1.5 hours initial consultation personal home visit including self-help tips, £20/half hour session (hands on or distant healing), £30 for 1 hour, £40 for 1.5-2 hours thereafter, £5 for a quickie consultation reiki at a show (in addition, petrol reimbursement to be paid, unless local to area or at an agility area, as Reiki is best in a location that the dog feels relaxed in). 5% of proceeds to be donated to Blue Cross Rescue. Fiona Stewart comes from an agility family competing in agility and flyball for over a decade. She herself started agility a few trial 1:1 sessions, then had eight local jumping classes for fun with Therapaws, then in past year moved onto competitive agility and to practice agility regularly at Paddocks at Dog Barn, all in above article. She attends agility coaching classes with Scallywags Dog School, competing in Kennel Club/UKA shows, achieving 32 rosettes from 16 shows in her first competition season. Fiona Stewart has not only been published in The Observer Magazine (2009), also Agility Voice (July 2009), Rousse made the final of agility photographer of the year, with "Loving the Weaves" by photographer Nat Rogers (Dec 2009), then a whole beautiful page in Agility Voice Photographer of Year entries for 'Snow Collie' (Jan 2010).
